Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art

The addition to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon comprises a new gallery space for the museum’s unique Masterworks on Loan program, and a new restaurant, which will act as a node of socializing and quality dining for this section of campus. A new lobby is provided along with a reevaluation of the overall entrance sequence for the building. The new gallery is daylit through a north-facing clerestory, in contrast to the warm glazed southern hallway opposite its containment wall.
